The minted bar, known as Valcambi CombiBarTM is designed to facilitate the gifting or transfer of small amounts of gold: either as a 50g bar, or as small groups of 1g bars, or 50 separate 1g bars.

Each 50g bar is issued in a tamper-proof plastic sheath that contains a serial numbered assay certificate.
